Please moon, forget to fall
So we can be together for all eternity.

He tightened his grip on her hand. She felt his nails begin to lacerate her soaked skin, soon the dull ache in her stomach began to really explode; like a thousand knives twisted, her arm went straight to her torso. All she wanted was to give him one last kiss where they fell in love. One more kiss under the fig tree where they had shared so many of their life stories; where he had his arms wrapped around her waist all day. Where they watched the sun fall and the moon rise, where they asked the moon to forget to fall down so the hours would come for eternity. If life was more simple, if Eden had never given her soul to Adam they could have been together. But it was too late, and in his mind he knew it, but his heart refused to believe. The plans they had put together just fell apart, none of it mattered without her. Nothing. He realized, in life we're all just waiting. We're waiting to die.
